1. Rights

General Policies of VNUHCM

a) Be appointed as an Adjunct Professor at VNUHCM.

b) Receive research funding support from VNUHCM (allowing adjunct professors to participate as co-principal investigators or members of research projects).

c) Assistance with legal procedures, visas, and entry/exit formalities.

d) Facilitation of access to VNUHCM’s infrastructure, laboratories, and other resources to support teaching and research activities.

e) Recognition and certification from VNUHCM upon completion of the adjunct professorship term.

Unit-Funded Policies

a) Coverage of airfare (round-trip), travel expenses, accommodation, and other costs (including legal procedures, visa, health and accident insurance) as well as additional policies as agreed in the contract between the unit and the adjunct professor.

b) Compensation based on teaching hours, co-supervision of research, and other activities in accordance with the unit’s regulations.

c) Support for the adjunct professor in obtaining work permits, visas, and temporary residence cards.

2. Responsibilities

a) Obtain approval from their home institution or organization.

b) Comply with the regulations of both their home institution and VNUHCM, particularly in areas of confidentiality, academic ethics and integrity.

c) Proactively develop and implement lecturing and research plans at VNUHCM.

d) Commit to a minimum of 10 working days per year at VNUHCM.
