APPLICATION, APPOINTMENT PROCESS
1. Application requirements
Interested individuals must submit the following documents:
a) Letter of interest.
b) Academic CV.
c) Work Plan with the Host Institution during the Visiting Appointment
d) Evidence of Academic Qualifications and Related Achievements
đ) Recommendation Letters (if available)
e) Email Confirmation of Approval from the Employer or Competent Authority at the Current Institution
g) Personal Undertaking on Remuneration, Tax Compliance, Academic Integrity, and Intellectual Property Rights
2. Application Submission Methods
Candidates are required to prepare their application dossiers and submit them to VNUHCM through one of the following two submission methods:
a) Direct submission via the website: vnu350.vnuhcm.edu.vn
b) Submission via email to: vnu350@vnuhcm.edu.vn
c) Where the field of interest is not included in the list of Adjunct Professor recruitment requirements of the respective units, applicants may submit their application dossiers directly to the following email address: vnu350@vnuhcm.edu.vn
3. Appointment process
a) The Adjunct Professor Advisory Council shall evaluate the applications based on academic qualifications, scientific achievements, and the proposed collaboration plan between the applicant and the host institution
b) The President of VNUHCM shall approve and publish the appointment decisions for Adjunct Professors who meet all required criteria. The appointment term ranges from one (01) to two (02) years and may be renewed upon expiration
VNUHCM receives application dossiers on a continuous basis throughout the year and organizes evaluation and selection in periodic rounds. The results are published regularly on the official website vnu350.vnuhcm.edu.vn.
